Lichtenstern, Italy, January 2020 … For travelers seeking an alternative to hectic, see-and-be-seen ski resorts, ADLER Lodge RITTEN, the newest hotel from the ADLER Hotel Group, is a true respite where guests can relax, recharge and reconnect to both themselves and their loved ones.

Set in the foothills of the Dolomites mountain range, Adler Ritten is a sister hotel to established properties like ADLER Spa Resort THERMAE in Tuscany. This area, known as the Ritten plateau, is a popular weekend getaway for Italian city dwellers.
Here's a rundown of just a few of the excursions and activities that will be offered this winter:

Full-Moon Ski Excursion

The Corno del Renon is a small ski resort with a breathtaking, 360-degree view of the surrounding mountains. The trails range from beginner to intermediate, and are ideal for skiers who love relaxed days on the slopes. Skiers first take a 5pm shuttle to the cable car station. After riding to the summit and enjoying the incredible panoramas, there is a chance to eat dinner at one of the local mountain huts. The highlight of the experience is the chance to ski back down the mountain in the glow of the moonlight.

Restorative Yoga Retreat with Anna Lisa Tempestini: February 16 - 23, 2020

This yoga week, which is appropriate for both beginners and more advanced practitioners, focuses on detoxification and balancing energy within the body. Sauna Class in the Woods: February 2 - February 29, 2020

Guests will experience a special course led by the hotel's two sauna masters: It's an unforgettable sensory experience that mixes light, heat, water and music. Winter Forest Therapy

Through meditative sessions in the woods, guests will learn to activate their senses and connect with nature. Forest Therapy, also called Forest Bathing, is inspired by the Japanese art of shinrin yoku, which translates roughly to “healing in nature.” But these two-hour immersions much more than just a walk outdoors. Forest Therapy is a research-based framework that supports healing and wellness, and many believe that it can not only reduce stress, but also boost immunity.
